A story recommended to my friends

Hello!

Well I remember when was a child, I saw a history called ROBOTECH, this history was made in comic and animated pictures. This animation has been the best I've seen in my child life.

I remember that I saw all the chapters and also was recorder in a VHS video.

The most important situation was the war whit the aliens of the other universe, and the new machines with many transformations to fight against the enemy (called ZENTRAEDI).

Also this history talk about friendship, love, respect and solidarity. This is important for the kids, because this give new and good values for the future.

The history is adaptated in three chronological generations, with a lot of relationships and similar situations but the most important difference are in the news technologies.

I recommend you see this great adventure to all my friends and also at today's children because is very interesting and delivers another vision to the cartoons in the past.

However today exist good series and comics, better than before and whit mayor technologies. Really I don't know much to the theme, but ROBOTECH was incredible!!!

This is a good moments in my life

I remember that I had 13 years old, and the photo was taken in the house of my best friend Manuel.

In that moment I was in 7th grade in the school and my favourite hobby was listening to music, also in that moment I spended more time with my oldies friends.

And is in this moment of my life when I begun to play guitar and also I was thinking to create a punk rock band and met pretty girls. Hahahaha.

This picture means a lot of things for me, this is very important for the context and the situation that happened. I remember the separation of my fathers, also the birth of my second niece.

At this time my life was different, I didn't have responsibilities, problems or big obligations, only the school.

I still remember that moment, this picture was saved in my closet more than ten years ago and only two weeks ago was scanned in my PC.

Well, this is a little part of my life, I hope you liked it.

THE BEST COUNTRY TO KNOW

Hello!

I think that in the future I would visit other continent, perhaps would travel with my girlfriend, maybe will be fabulous knows Europe, this continent are close to me, because in this place my sister Carolina lives.
I hope visit to my sister in the future, she lives in Sweden and I offered to live with it.
Well, I really like to know Spain, for the culture and his autonomous towns, the music bands, the parties, the location and his history (the civil war of 1936). Also for the language (is more easy) and his beautiful landscapes.

Germany, England and France are good places too, but the language is a problem to me, but I hope learn step by step in the English course.

Maybe also can I know other countries inside of my continent like Bolivia, Equator and Mexico; luckily I know Argentina and Perú.

I think that in future I would be to study in another country, maybe in Sweden or some place in Europe or U.S.A, but the important is to continue my studies in any place.

In the last field trip, we made a lot of things. With my partners we work hard, met the district of Alhué in the South of Santiago. We worked in the Alhué River, we saw the water and identified problems of pollution. The principle cause was the mining "La Florida" with toxic substances for the health. These substances contain high levels of metals that fall in the river all days. This field trip will extend to two weekends more, and the study also includes interviews with local people. Other group of partners explored the life at the environment; we waked up very early in the morning (5:30 am).In the finish of course we delivered a report with all the results, also we explained the causes and the possible solutions in a conversation with the community. This is the challenge, and I hope that find good information. This is all for now…Bye!

I think that the corrections in my work is very important, this is a great and in my personal experience has been an excellent additional help in my learning.

It also complements the classes of Simon and leaves me more tired, uffff!!

My favourite piece of technology...

My favourite piece of technology is the personal computer. I remember when I was a child dreamed with having a computer, in that moment the ATARI was very famous and expensive.

When I started my studies at the university a great friend to me a gift...MY FIRST PERSONAL COMPUTER!
Since that time, the computer has been very important for me, for the homework’s, for the games and for the programmes to make music, work whit pictures, editing videos, etc.
Now in my house I have internet, and spending a lot of time on the day using it. In the nights until very late and the weekends on some occasions all day. I like this that helps me in my thing and also I can talk to my sister who lives in another country for MSN (she lives in Sweden). But this is not the most important for me, is only a tool and if it did not exist, my life will be the same.
I think that the technology is very important today, but the life is more than machines and work, is necessary don’t forget this.

SUBURBIA (the film)

Hello!

Well, I don't have a favourite movie but there are many goods. When I was 15 years old I remember that with a group of friends we obtained this film in VHS format. Principally the interest was its name “suburbia…the punks revolt”.

Other reason for saw it was the interpretation of flea ( he plays bass on red hot chili peppers band) as a person more in the movie.

I don’t believe that this movie delivers some learning, but at that moment was very shocking for me, and I remember that was very renamed between young’s of the time.

This film talks about the life of a group of teenagers whit problems in his lives, and united for a ideology a little wrong, but shared situations like a real family.

However the tragedy always are present, drugs, violence and dead.

The end of the movie was horrible, because a child (a little brother of one of them) was murder, and the group of teenagers dissolves.

I think that this film was a reference of the problems in the society today, showing problems, discrimination, racism, Consumerism and drug addiction.

I recommend that the next to see their friends and then comment.

Well, in this moment of the year in my country are happening more things. But this month is full of contradictions, mainly for historical success. Fiestas patrias for me is not important, but is a good moment to share with my friends and drink chicha (a typical drink made for grapes). The Chilean people in this date enjoy in family, go to the fondas (a typical place with traditional things), dance cueca (traditional dance) or cumbia, drink alcohol, and eat much meat. Also some go to the circus and the rodeo. All the houses fly flags (is a law...hahahaha) and the children’s fly a kite. When I was a child I remember that my favourite games were spining top and marbles, and we met with the family in the grandmother’s house; my father with my uncle’s flew a kite. My vision is different today, it is 10 years since I became a vegetarian and I do not like to abuse animals, I don’t believe in traditions, and the rodeo and the circus with animals are horrible for me, however I like seeing people happy on this date and the reunion of families. My best 18 was in 2002, when I went to a party that lasted 3 days!!! All night long hahahaha.

My experience learning English (CORRECTION)

Well, my experience in the English language was from 12 years at the school. In this moment I began learning. In 8th grade I had a private class in the afternoons, but I didn’t take it seriously because was very bored to me. In secondary school I didn’t had English classes, only French; and my previous learning was forgotten. However the English language always has been in my life, in the music, in the television, in the text and in my partners to the other sides of the world. Now in the Internet era is very important learn to speak English. I remember in 2000 came a band from Holland; his name was Cathode and only speak English. I was with them in their presentations here, and it was very difficult for me to talk with them. Now in the university, the English language is used for everyone, but my learning is a little slow. I think that learn good the language because the class are good and my interest is more than before. In the last time my concern for the language has been superior to the other years, I believe that my motivations are in following my studies out of my country. I hope when I finish the course with good qualifications and also have a greater knowledge of the language, maybe in the day of tomorrow I can visit other countries and win a grant to study, this is my idea in this moment and I can get it.

i have a dream... (i'm not an emo or Martin Luther king)

Hello!!
In the future I want to live in the centre, maybe in a place with green areas and all services nearby.
But my idea is to have a good job, soon I will search for a new home, away from my family (alone).
Maybe in principle I could live whit two or three partners in an apartment, and cost sharing but in 5 years more I hope to be independent.
My dream in the future would be follow whit my studies, achieve a doctorate and have an orchard, also have a recording studio and a pub for metal-heads (hahahaha).
Being more realistic in 5 years, I will be fatter, working and living somewhere close to my family and my friends. The most important for me is to be happy, and having a job quiet and safe whit free time to continue with my hobbies.
This is my vision to the future, and my dreams.

my life

Hello!!
My name’s Jaime Valderrama, I have 27 years old.
My life is very extreme!! hahahaha
I live whit my mother and my little sister Ignacia, in the south of Santiago. I have other sister, the mayor. Her names is Carolina, she live in Sweden whit her children and her husband.
My parents are separated, but the relation between my father and me is good. The work of my mother is relationated whit programmes of capacitation for small businesses and my father work in the construction of a big casino in Rancagua.
My little sister has 9 years old, and she is in 4 grades in a primary school, we always fight for nonsense but we love.
Everyday I’m in the university; I study Geography and im in the penultimate year of my career. This place is great and I have met good friends.
My hobbies are varied, now in this moment I have a small silkscreen workshop 100% made by me. Also play guitar in three rock bands, whit different stiles of music and lately I have tried to create music on my personal computer.
In the last weekend I was play whit my band in much places and now are very tired, uf!!!
This is me, and this is my life...

The best blog in the class is the jeans blog, why? For one reason: Jean is a best friend, also I know is especially difficult to learn English for him. Is for this that my opinion considers his effort and motivation.

I do not would know about the geography, and to my 24 years I always wanted to study something.
In the beginning, i wanted to study history, but my qualification in the test was inferior for
enter in it.
It was so how my interested change to geography, now I’m very happy for my decision!
I hope in 10 years have a good job, in a enterprise or in government department or in a ministry or in a some organization, doing a god work and also helping in the resolution of troubles related to my profession.
The geographer can help in the problems of the earth, whit various methodologies and directs interventions.
In the future, the geographer needs to have a better mathematics, statistics and geological knowledge, just so that you can improve your work.
My favourite subject is very difficult of decide; really are a lot of content in every semester, however my favourite area of knowledge is in the physical subjects.
My dream in this moment is finish the carrier without problems, and after begin a master in any physical item working and studying at the same time.
But my big preoccupation in this moment is English….hahahaha is a joke.

one on one...whit "el flipas"

This guy is a vocalist of La Polla Records, The Kagas, The Meas and now Gatillazo (my favorite Spanish bands), his name is Evaristo Paramos, his music, and his lirics talk about social problems in the world.

This band visited Chile three times, and I met him in person; my first impression was wow!! “this is a rock star”, and I offered to shake hands but when he saw me, he said: you´re not a politician and me neither, so why do you offer to shake hands???... Then give me a hug! and he went inside a hotel.
If I ever had a one on one whit Evaristo, i would like to ask how he live in Spain, and know the history of his band.
Also to know the history about the death of Fernando (the drummer of the band).
I would ask him about his 30 years playing with the same force and ideology and how is his life with his wife and sons.

in the last class, visits a web site of BBC, this site is dedicated to learn english whit very sections...In the section get that job, i download a text in english with simple word for learning.

Also listen de BBC radio an the program ofCharlie Gillett's World of Music. In the section ask about english Spelling, punctuation & pronunciation, i complet the words.
And watch the 142 episode of "the flatmates" in this serial i decide the end is very ingenius,
also response a questions about Colour expressions and my score was 5 out of 6, excelent!!

...Really i don´t have a fovourite song, because my musical stile is diversing. But in 1997 apromiximately listen to The Misfits, his clothes and stile was rare, and your lirycs talk of monsters, zombies and terror histories. There are from New Jersey and his inspiration was the music of the 50 years, but whit touchs of punk rock.

This band begin in 1977, the formers was Glenn Danzig and Jerry Only.

In 1983 the band is over, but Glenn D. Follow whit new proyects (Samhain, Danzig) untill today.

In 1997 the band Playing together again, but in this new formation, Glenn is out.

The fame of this band was global, incluiding south america. In 1999 they visited our country ( i was there!!!!) and was a wonderful concert...

Quemchi.....and the Caucahué island

Hello! in the last summer, visit a beautiful place in the south of Chile whit my partners of band, your name is Quemchi, is in the north coast of the Chiloé Island. There make a musical festival without profit purposes of independents rocks bands of punk, thrash, death metal, grindcore and anyone with critical and not discriminatory ideology.
The bands coming of Concepción, Osorno, Castro, Santiago and other places.

The night before the festival the bus,
at the 3am crashed!!!!!
I was sleeping, but all are find...uf!

The show was in a little island, called CAUCAHUÉ, was realy wonderful.

In this moment i was very afraid, because i dont know how to swim, we cross a boat.
(is not a good picture, nor a good face hahaha...)

The night of show, haved more people and the sound are very bad... but was a great adventure!!

THIS IS A REAL SHOW ..hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
In the back, went through the Ancud city, and visit the artesanal Feria.
my lunch time was in the coast of beach and my return lasted more of 15 hours!

This was my best adventure in the summer of 2008.
